Floriade (latin - 'to design with flowers') is celebrating its 21st anniversary with the biggest flower festival ever held in Australia. Located at the Commonwealth Park in Canberra, ACT Australia along the picturesque banks of Lake Burley Griffin.
The theme of the Floriade festival is based on ‘Films that shaped our nation’. You will be amazed by the dazzling display of over a million beautiful blooms. Each display creates a large picture of the festivals theme base on films such as Muriel’s Wedding, Australia’s favourite foot-slapping penguin from Happy Feet; the spectacular Priscilla, Queen of the Desert bus, Babe and many more.

Additional Events live music reminding you of your favourite soundtracks, kid’s fun activities with a film flavour, roaming street performers and an on-site cinema screening Australian films.

Festival Dates and Times 13 September to 12 October Monday to Friday 9.00am – 5.00pm Weekends 8.00am – 5.00pm
