Alyx is on a mission. Terminate the Combine invaders. An action packed short Half life 2 machinima film. This is my first machinima film using the Half Life 2 game engine(EP1). I created a HL2 map ages ago to test animation in the game and using the AI. I found it the other day and made this short action packed machinima film. It took 2 days to shoot/record the footage, changing camera angles and dolly speed for each shot. Then I had to go through each shot and edit it adding music and converting the video for Youtube.
The best thing about it is you can shoot at any location without getting approval from council. You can have any type of weapon you wish to choose and not worry about OH&S. If someone gets shot or killed, don't worry about loosing your main actor in the middle of production or getting sued for neglegance. They miraculously come back to life within seconds. Hope you enjoy it as much as I enjoyed making it. |
